IGHL is dedicated to empowering individuals to live their best lives, for life. As part of this commitment, we explore opportunities in all areas, including recreation. IGHL's Annual Summer Camp Week is an event eagerly anticipated by our program participants and staff each year. It's a time to connect with friends, acquire new skills, break free from daily routines and revel in the joy of outdoor activities.
This year's Summer Camp Week theme is "IGHL Studios" - inspired from Universal, Warner Bros, Nickelodeon and Hollywood Studios. There will be many exciting activities going on throughout the week including Dance parties, special guest impersonators Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley, hair stations, Airbrush tattoo stations, costumed characters, face painting, delicious treats and food, a pie eating contest, animals and reptiles from Quogue Wildlife Refuge, music from DJ Strange Solutions, Carl Bruno and John Caruso and a special performance from one of our affiliate partners, Maryhaven's Performing Arts Group.
Our Summer Camp Week occurs during the week of our President and Chief Executive Officer, Walter W. Stockton's birthday -- which we throw a huge celebration for him and all program participants and staff really enjoy.

Unfortunately, the funding we receive from New York State falls significantly short of meeting the expenses associated with our Summer Camp Week.
We hope you will consider supporting IGHL's Summer Camp Week to not only help us bridge the funding gap but also enable us to create a truly transformative camp experience for the people we support. Your contribution will be used to bring in special guests such as magicians, a DJ and even animals from a local animal refuge (Quogue Wildlife Refuge). It will also cover the costs of special treats and themed camp t-shirts. Most importantly, your support will allow us to provide a nurturing environment and a wide range of enjoyable summer activities that will enrich the lives of our Campers.
We've heard you can't buy happiness, but we know you can invest in this event which promotes every opportunity for people to have a great week full of laughter, happiness and creativity. Regardless of size, your donation can and will make a significant difference!
