What is the purpose of IGHL?
From the first group home IGHL opened in 1978, our purpose has always been to provide the highest quality of care, supports, and services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, so that they can realize their full potential, and become contributing members of their community.
Our wide variety of dynamic services include Residential, Day Habilitation programs, Vocational Training and Employment programs.
When was IGHL established?
IGHL was established in 1978 by our President & CEO, Walter W. Stockton, when he first opened the doors to the first IGHL group home in Mt. Sinai, NY.
