Description | Title: Dietary Aide Supervisor: Cook Manager Department: Residential FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Pay Rate: $16.50hr - $18.50
Job Summary The Dietary Aide is responsible for maintaining the kitchen area in a clean, orderly fashion and assists the cooking preparations for staff and individuals.
RESPONSIBILITIES: E- Connotes Essential Functions E-1 Prepares desserts and beverages for meals using portion control. E-3 Refills snacks and supplies needed in the kitchen. E-4 Sets up meal trays for consumers with special needs, eating utensils and accurately follow Doctor’s orders. After meal: cleans, sanitizes and returns eating utensils to correct storage bins. E-5 Provides coverage of other dietary aides in their absence. E-6 Cleans kitchen appliances, dishes, pots, pans and utensils according to Board of Health requirements. 7- Cleans and sanitizes own work area. 8- Maintains general cleanliness of kitchen and all food service related areas. 9- Assists in putting away stock from food suppliers. 10- Adheres to all safety policies and procedures. 11- All other duties as assigned.
