DEVELOPMENTAL SPECIALIST ASSISTANT (DSA)

Assists the developmentally disabled adult in a classroom setting providing hands on assistance with all classroom and recreational activities.

DIRECT CARE COUNSELOR (DCC)

Assists the developmentally disabled adult at their residential site providing hands on assistance with daily living activities such as toileting, dressing, feeding, bathing and recreation in accordance with their level of functioning.

RESIDENTIAL HABILITATION SPECIALIST

The Residential Habilitation Specialist is responsible for assisting in enhancing the lives of the individuals they are caring for by teaching skills necessary to perform activities. These activities include things that continuously occur in the individual’s home and assisting them with recreational activities. Requirements: High School Diploma/ GED Valid NYS Drivers License Own reliable vehicle. 1 year experience working with the MR/DD population.

RECREATION COUNSELOR

Plans, organizes, leads and conducts recreational activities such as games, athletics, cultural arts, community outings and social activities for the developmentally disabled at their assigned site according to their level of functioning. Provides as needed assistance with personal care routines. Qualifications: One year experience working with MR/DD population.
